Finacing for an Antique Car

Question: Where do go for financing an antique or collector car say the year of 1950-1955?? Thank you.
Answer: I personally don't have any experience with financing for antique cars, but my first thought would be a credit union.
Note: More than likely you'll need above average to excellent credit to get financing for an antique car. Not sure that that will be a factor in your situation, but thought I'd give you a heads up before you start applying for loans.
Some may not offer this type of financing simply because having a trusted source for valuing these types of cars would be difficult.
Kelley Blue Book does offer values for antique cars, but not online. The credit union would have to be willing to use the value they publish in their guidebooks.
Outside of a credit union, here is a source that I was able to find for you: JJ Best. I have no experience with them, but it looks like they are legit and offer good rates.
Hope this helps,
Justin
