General Motors Extended Warranty (GMPP)

For near new vehicles, less than 12 months old and under 12,000 miles, the terms of coverage are just below. The time of the coverage begins from the original in service date (when it was first bought) of the vehicle and the miles are the actual odometer reading.

For vehicles up to 3 years old and up to 36,000 miles, the time in months below begins from the purchase date of the service contract (GM extended warranty) and the miles are in addition to your current odometer reading.

Cadillac and Buick for GMPP Coverage

If your vehicle is within 3 year model years or newer and less than 36,000 miles, please use the terms above. If your Cadillac and/or Buick is within 3 model years or newer with 36,001-50,000 miles use these terms:

Cadillac's and Buick's 4 model years old with under 36,000 miles do not have the 5, 6 or 7 year plan available, but do offer a 36/60, 36/75, 48/60 and 48/72 plans, in addition to the coverages just above.

Cadillac's and Buick's 4 model years old and 36,001-50,000 miles do not have the 5, 6 or 7 year plan available. The longest plan is 48 months, 48,000 miles.

Vehicle One Warranty

Vehicle One is for almost all makes and models of vehicles and as long as the vehicle is still covered by the original bumper to bumper factory warranty with minimum of 3 months and 3,000 miles remaining, then the vehicle qualifies for coverage.

All coverages begin from the date the contract is purchased and the miles are "up to" on the odometer and not in addition to the current odometer reading.

For vehicles that are 4 model years or newer with less than 18,000 miles the terms are as follows:

All Non-GM Vehicles for GMPP Coverage

All non-GM vehicles must be 3 model years and newer and under 36,000 miles no matter what the factory warranty is. This applies to both the GM Protection Plan and Vehicle One.
